One step left after installing
Translation happens in the Safari extension. After install you still have to switch it on once. Three steps, one minute.

The extension is on, but it has no engine yet. Tapping the floating button now takes you to setup first — this guide walks through it once, about two minutes.

Spaced repetition works because forgetting is not a failure of memory but a property of it. Each time a memory is retrieved just before it would have slipped away, the interval until the next review can be stretched further.
